SharePoint Online is a powerful tool that helps to organise documents, giving modern features such as version control, tagging, approval workflows, security and advanced search to your important documents. Although it is easy to get up and running on SharePoint Online, the best implementations have been well designed according to best practice guidelines.
At the end of the course, delegates should have a good understanding of how SharePoint is structured, be able to build sites, lists, libraries and pages, and be able to manage user permissions. It will cover all of the core SharePoint concepts such as metadata, version control, check-in/check-out and co-authoring.
We will also spend some time discussing how SharePoint can best be used in your organisation, and how it fits in with other Office 365 Apps, such as Microsoft Teams.
The course is a balanced mix of demonstration, discussion and hands on labs.
This course is designed for delegates who will be involved in building SharePoint Sites and maintaining permissions, and who will act as an escalation point for SharePoint Champions.
Delegates should have a good depth of web browser knowledge and be familiar with Microsoft Office functionality.
Delegates will benefit from having also attended End User Workshops and Power User training, or having some previous experience of using SharePoint.
